Question Sylvan, Gull, or Pine, or even Forestburg Reservoir?

Meeting at one of the 3 or 4 lakes for family fishfest but i have never fished those lakes before. So looking for opinions on the best of them to fish at with a few kids along too, maybe more quantity then quality or some eaters too.
thanks for any ideas folks! Happy Holidays! Tight Lines!

I guess its now a debate between the three brothers who dont have any experience in these lakes, so your opinions are valued.

I am aware people have said there are perch in Sylvan, but I have not seen any out on the lake by RR23. How many FOW would I need to get to some perch? TIA

I haven't seen any perch in Sylvan for at least 3 years, targetting them mainly in 30' to 40' of water off of RR23. There used to be tons of them there (and in 20'-25' of water in the marina bay), and when the fishing was slow in shallow for whitefish you just had to head out deep and you'd be on perch immediately. Tried not to fish them too often since if they aren't keepers they have a hard time getting back down when you take them out of 30' or more of water. Don't know why the drought the past several years, a lot of folks have speculated it is due to an exploding walleye population.
