Top notch did mine and it’s very nice. My ram had a big hump on his nose from years of fighting I assumed they would have left it because it was pretty cool characteristic. But they fixed it as if it wasn’t there. So just let them know what you want. I just assumed. Ram looks lifelike so complaints it’s been ten years though. He was also done in like 3 months I think. I have other stuff els-wear that’s been 2 years now.
Top notch has done a pair of rams for me. Both turned out great and we have had many positive comments on the detail they put in. Stop by the showroom and see what you think, they usually have at least a few in there to check out. Bit pricey but worth it imo.
Was just in at Artistic today dropping my ram off. Brian is awesome to deal with and the pieces in the shop right now are very impressive. He figures 10-12 month lead time but from what I can tell, it will be worth the wait.
I always have said it and this year he gets mine and a buddies ram, Gary Schafer Taxidermy, Alhambra, AB. check out his website and take a good look at his Bighorns. Every single one looks different and they look like they could get of the wall and walk away...... true sheep master if you ask me. He has done 3 of my buddies rams and they are all amazing.
Brian Dobson...He finished up my Marco Polo and Ibex a month ago and did a great Job. He has my work from now on. Had a bighorn done by the guy in red deer and he totally wrecked it now need a new cape
