Default Opening Day 8

Got r done on the first sit of the first day. Was in my spot for a couple hours enjoying the geese flying over when this beauty 8 stepped out and I just couldn’t pass up that monster frame. 1 shot to the chest and that was all she wrote!

We call that "a big three pointer with decent brow tines" in alberta. Nice buck. I love the big three pointers too. Not doing the gene pool any favors but he'll be good eating.👍

Been hunting in Alberta my whole life and that a 8 point or 4x4

Nobody I know calls that a three point and I think the gene pool is just fine

Where I grew up that would be a three pointer. Doesn't matter what you call it, nice buck.

Took a few measurements today for giggles, inside spread is 21” beams at 24” and longest g2 at 11”. Never gotten so much meat off of a deer, hindquarters and tenderloins were massive!
