Talking Wab Hog!

Went to wab prov park this weekend camping with the family and managed to get 3hrs in on the lake.Here's a few pics of the highlight fish that measured in at 52 inches and weighed in at 34.7 pounds.OOOH YEAH.Best fish of my life!!Knew there were some hogs in there but never dreamed of catching a pike that big.Unforgettable.

nice fish! there is another thread called " 50 inch pike ". check that pike out as well.

Seriously guys.. if he wants to call it 34 lbs.. whats wrong with that?? Does it really matter enough to start the bashing..?

alberta record is 38 pounds caught from kehoe lake alberta in 1982 been a while, hopeing someone catches a 40 pounder this year.

Im thinking 52 inches is a bit off....the guy must be 8 feet tall if thats a 52 incher...great fish BTW! ......a pic beside the tape would dispell any myths.

It doesn't look any bigger than the 44 inch one I caught this spring on the fly in fact it looks smaller....

I just used "Bob's Law" on this guy, and he is actually only 44.6 inches and weighed in at 23.2 pounds...nice try though

I recognize that hog she was in the bay all winter got the best of me tho congrats. Ps i heard a few stories of some much bigger in wab. I estimated the one i lost durin the winter around that size one fellow was telling me fish tales of the ones they used to pull out of the commercial nets when that was goin on at wab

Supposedly there are the fellow i spoke to this winter said they pulled a 52# out of a net whether or not its true i dont know but personally i think there are
