I'm quite surprised, I thought being under Trudeau and the liberals it would be dancing alphabit unicorns and crossed magic wands.

The Department of National Defence proactively issued a statement expressing regret for the confusion and clarifying that the traditional emblem will remain the same.

"The Canadian Army has not changed its official logo," said DND's senior communications adviser Alex Tétreault in a media statement.

"We remain proud of our official emblem — which remains two crossed swords, three maple leaves and a royal crown

This is a good thing as indicated above but for the blocky Lego thingy not a fan of.

As with all areas of employment bad decisions are made at all levels.

No words, just bazar! Minecraft with a character who's pew pew shoots blanks and ejects maple leaf's? Only in the mind of a Liberal would this make any sense. But at least now we know what happened to all that high priced POT that the Government could not sell went.

I don't think he had a part - otherwise it wouldn't be brown, it would be a rainbow Lego person (we don't know how they self identify) violating a Lego moose of indeterminate gender (we would have to ask the moose and respect their assertion - they might not self identify as a moose of either gender, they might self identify as an asexual bunny)
And in the Clown Prince's world you're not allowed to be either strong or proud that might hurt someone's feelings. and as for ready, we stand on guard for thee with rocks and pointy sticks because buying actual arms might mean less support for his friends
What a disgrace
My heart goes out to the folks in our Forces who want to be what the logo says

Cadpat - the computer-generated digital camouflage pattern developed for use by the Canadian Armed Forces in 1997….

This is one of the alternate version. They didn't want it to be this specific, so when with the digital model instead.....

Default You guys have both oars in the water?

apparently not...

The logo is unchanged. Just some garnish put around it. I don't see any controversy here...no tampons or rainbows...all is good.

This is like the Calgary fast food bag and utensil fiasco.

Just admit it's horrible, cut bait and move on.

Not sure what that Military logo represents. The City of Lethbridge once had a impressive masculine logo, now it turned into a wimpy loop.

Default What is weird?

1. It's not the Canadian military logo. It's the army badge which consists of:
St. Edward's Crown;
Three red maple leaves on one stem; and
Crossed swords
2. What's the fuss?
3. Do any of you know what you are even speculating about?
4. The digital camo pattern? Is that the problem? The digital camo pattern is not part of the Army logo, it's just a sample of the army disruptive pattern camo uniform being used on a new branding for the army
5. Maybe you should sign up or at least know what you're commenting on.
6. What's weird is people commenting on something which is completely foreign to them.
7. I am not, never was in the army. But I did a stint in the air force.

Got nothing to do with Liberals, Trudeau or any run of the mill conspiracies. Canadians should be on board with this.

Listen guys, you're all wrong.
It's camouflage.
Camouflage is meant to obscure the appearance of something, or make something appear as something else.

In this case the blob at the back clearly represents Trudeau, and the moose represents Canada.
