I have not heard anything about Michelle for a while now.
Tomorrow I'm gonna do a tour of Cypress, may try Spruce and Michelle for a bit if ice conditions allow.
Conservation officer in Elkwater says Spruce is getting iffy around the dam but I forgot to ask about Michelle.......

Default Ressor

I have never fished it, but how is Reesor for trout fishing? Ice thickness? How big is the average one? How is the bite right now? BEL

I can't tell you about the ice but I can tell you that the road down from the plateau into the valley can be a real problem if it is icy or snow covered. You can change your mind while you enjoy the view, if need be.

Spent a few hours at Michelle yesterday and it was slow......no bites!!
There were several other guys out and I did not see anyone get a hit while I was there.
Not a whole lot of water in there and would not be surprised if they had a winterkill in it.
Water is very brown, probably from run-off.
South side of lake holding ice OK but the north looked very iffy.
IMO not worth the drive unless you are just going for something to do!!

Default Where?

I will be visiting my mother during Easter in the Hat. I was thinking of Reesor. Where else could a guy and kids go? I know of Bullshead, Reesor, and Michelle. BEL

Default michelle res.

was out at michelle two weeks ago and tried all over the lake and not even a bite or anything, this is very odd for this lake imo lake may be winterkilled as it is farly low and had a lot of snow cover. also checked spruce coulee and they were still working on the dam, and the road down in there is pretty much stripped of any gravel. if u venture in there make sure u have 4 wheel drive. the water level is about 15 feet below dam
