You could go as simple as a 5 gal pail and trash bag liner with a scoop of kitty litter or sawdust and tie it up after and trash it when you get to the nearest bin

OR

Buy one of those cheap little porta toilets - same idea as above ...

that's what we do.

5 gallon pail, trash bag as a liner, and either a pool noodle or a length of that foam pipe insulation you can buy at hardware stores. Cut a slit in the pool noodle so it fits over the lip of the bucket to give you a nice comfy seat, and also to hold the trash bag liner in place. I take one of these out for all my overnight trips, works excellent

Default Toilet seat for 5 gal pail

I purchased a seat off Amazon that clips on to a 5 gal pail. Even came with ziplock bags for the pail. My misses say it works better than the outhouses I just set it up in our smaller tent. The more comfortable she is the more I get out fishing 👍

Bass Pro and Cabelas sell a toilet seat that snaps onto a 5 gallon pail. Holds a plastic bag in place. $16

Ice fishing, just drill a hole under the seat. You can put up one of the small porta shower/potty tents for a privacy screen. There are less cumbersome versions of this as well.

Cumbersom porta potty can be replaced by bucket and seat or tent use on the hitch mounted seats above.

Thanks, I'm so cheap I think I'll go with the 5 gallon pail and pool noodle or pipe insulation! Make it deluxe with a tp dispenser riveted to the side!

That's what I use. Compact, portable and has good capacity.

Take along a boxful of the new adult diapers for outdoorsmen and women. Only have to change them twice a day. Instead of Pampers they are called Campers.

Aren't humans vain. As they walk behind their dogs, with a baggy over their hand, anticipating the pick up. Give your buddy a roll of baggies.

A pail is good. If your friend needs privacy when making a deposit get a jumbo sized black garbage bag he can pull over himself and sit under.
