Yup, was in our warehouse on the dock and wondered why the floor seemed to quiver. First thoughts were the forklifts, yet I've never felt this before. Makes sense now.

The FB community page had some rumblings(hahahaha) about buildings shaking around Whyte ave an hour ago. Nothing here in the bungalow in East Edmonton by baseline road. Weird how some feel it, some don't. Lived here all my life, never felt one yet. Glad were not in a real quake zone though.

Maybe someone will blame fracs but at 10 km down it wasn’t.

Guys, the 5.1 isn’t a joke! Especially if you are on an 8th floor rooftop unit. I experienced this first time in my life this year when wife and me was on our vacation in St.Marten. Never been that scared in my life! Concrete building, the room was in a waive motion like a dominos right before they fall… Lasted for about 4-5 seconds. Scary as S…

I have to agree with this…I have also felt the effects of a 5.4 quake, I was downstairs my wife was upstairs, and with no warning the pictures on my walls were all moving and I got a sick feeling in my stomach, lots of motion…I was so scared I yelled upstairs to the wife to see if it was her that fell outa bed making everything rattle….true story!
