$150-$200, if it is in good shape and runs well.

It's a 1973. The guy used it for his canoe. Apparently it runs for ten minutes than dies. Might just get a carb rebuild kit. What do you guys think? I'll post pics

If it sputters and dies - most likely a fuel problem - something as simple as cleaning your fuel cap vent to prevent vapor lock or (increased pressure as it hears up), up to something more complicated like re-building the carb (heats up, expands and fails to meter air/fuel mixture).

If it's a sudden stop - check the coil - as it heats up and gets bigger it will eventually short.

Two pretty common things to try. Coil and Cap - no money required to check those two out.

Check you tube - i'm sure there is some good info on there

Before you buy anything, determine if you can order parts for that year or if another motor is needed for parts (should you need them)

I wouldn't give him more than 150 bucks for it. I would say offer 100 and see where it goes.

Yah I agree. It looked as if I can find parts. Relatively easy off of a seller on amazon. However at a 35$ price tag I couldnt pass it up. Any one point me in the direction of a owners manual? Or should I use serial number to try and find one?
