Finally! Have watched the others at least half a dozen times. A great steward for the hunting community.

Thanks for mentioning this series, I have not heard of it. I will have to check it out on Netflix.

I remember watching on a Saturday morning a few years ago this hunting show and I don't remember the name of it, but it was lame. It started out scouting deer signs in the summer for the fall hunt in Texas. Then the next thing you know they have built a tree house hunting blind with chairs, a bench rest and a small heater in the corner overlooking this wooded opening and they had been baiting the deer in the area all summer long with salt licks.

They cut to his 15 year old son with the 30.06 sitting on the bench rest overlooking this opening at 50 yards with the deer licking the salt lick and standing perfectly broadside so the boy could shoot from the bench rest. He takes the shot and they are high fiving each other on what a great hunt it was.

Oh brother. You might as well been shooting gophers.

Looked for it last night on Netflix and couldn't find it. Is the show called his name or is it under a different name?

Watch a few episodes tonight and not bad. Very reminiscent of the show "Departures", same type of videography and original music score. Much better than other hunting type shows I have seen. Thanks for the heads up.
