So with comey gone, the investigation dies and Trump is in the clear?

Our neighbors to the south are in for tumultuous times. Let me be clear. I would have cast my vote for him over Hillary with what I knew at the time. I saw the US Election as...

A) Consistently Crooked (Hillary)

vs

B) Possibly Crooked but Might Get Stuff Done (Trump)

Now we have seen that Trump is likely just as crooked, has a dangerous lack of knowledge of the history and decorum associated with the Presidency, and undoubtedly suffers with Narcissistic Personality Disorder. It's a bad combo, especially when the guy has the codes.

He couldn't give a rat's rip about Canada US relations and has already begun to hurt us trade wise.

For those of you who are not familiar with the disorder. Please read this description and tell me he does not have it.

Narcissistic Personality Disorder
Definition
By Mayo Clinic Staff

Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental disorder in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for admiration and a lack of empathy for others. But behind this mask of ultraconfidence lies a fragile self-esteem that's vulnerable to the slightest criticism.

If you have narcissistic personality disorder, you may come across as conceited, boastful or pretentious. You often monopolize conversations. You may belittle or look down on people you perceive as inferior. You may feel a sense of entitlement — and when you don't receive special treatment, you may become impatient or angry. You may insist on having "the best" of everything — for instance, the best car, athletic club or medical care.

At the same time, you have trouble handling anything that may be perceived as criticism. You may have secret feelings of insecurity, shame, vulnerability and humiliation. To feel better, you may react with rage or contempt and try to belittle the other person to make yourself appear superior. Or you may feel depressed and moody because you fall short of perfection.

George Orwell is known for this book 1984 which is really popular since the rise of Trump.

but

All of this reminds me of George Orwell's other book Animal House. I can even vision the Donald as the main character Napoleon.

Democrats, including Bernie Sanders have wanted him fired or to resign for months, I should think they'd be excited

Way I see it he did the right thing. This guy has had how long now to investigate this Russia thing? Nothing has come of it. Still, it gets brought up all the time as a mark against current government. Either the guy is incompetent and can't get the evidence, or there is nothing substantial there and they need to say so and move on. You can't just keep letting your opponents throw mud at you without producing evidence, why would you put up with that?

He recommended against prosecuting Hillary, which stank all on its own, but the fact that he has been able to do nothing with this Russia issue one way or the other means its time for him to go. The Democrats are not planning on letting the Russia issue go, so he was never going to be able to fire Comey without having people accuse him of doing so to avoid investigation. Might as well just do it.

338, when you planning on going fishing Key West?

The whole Trump & Russia thing seems like a non-story. Fake news. I've seen zero evidence so far, just wild accusations. If there's anything there, where's the evidence?

I don't mind that Comey was fired. Trust in Trump. It was difficult to tell whose side Comey was on with the email scandal, but he seemed to capitulate to Hillary's handlers when he dropped the case / did not recommend charges.

No matter what Trump does the sheep won't like it. Bill Clinton fired his FBI director 6 month's in. 4 month's ago all the Hillary supporters hated Comey.
The Russian thing is just made up to justify illegal spying on Trump prior to the election.

Do FBI directors get elected or appointed? Just asking what all the shouting is about? The fired one sure looked like a politician more than an investigator

Default Good on Trump.

Comey had to go he was not doing his job. All you have to do is watch the interviews with congress to figure that out.
Lynch should be in prison too.

Yep. This is a very normal letter from a president of the United States firing a director of the FBI. Especially the second paragraph.

From Wikipedia:
Quote:
The Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation is the head of that agency (FBI) and responsible for its day-to-day operations. The FBI Director is appointed for a single 10-year term by the President and confirmed by the Senate.[

Default Gowdy or Chaffetz.

I sure wish Gowdy would but I don't think he wants to leave congress.

Are you guys too dumb to see that all that Hillary crap was just that? Why do you think nothing ever came of it? After all, Donnie is in power now... do you think he let her off the hook because he is a nice guy? I guess he learned presidents arent kings. Thank God.

She is 10 times the man Donny is.
