Default Northern BC bull trout

How’s it going everyone?!

I’m in the tumbler ridge/Chetwynd area working and am looking for some tips on river fishing for bull trout without a boat. I’ve read the post on here about the upper halfway river but am looking for more. Pine river, Murray, peace, Sukunka etc etc!?

Cheers, Brad

The Murray is big, but I caught a huge bull trout, and a whack of grayling, on the Murray on the way to Kinuso Falls. Took a little bush road and hit the river. Fished from shore and that bull trout had shoulders!!!!!!!

It's been a few years, but I think the turn off from the Alcan was just around 101. There was a forestry campground nearby and then you took a very good gravel road from there for about an hour. I think there was a decent sized trailhead right by a major bridge over the Chowade. Unfortunately my buddy who lived up at Charlie lake has since moved on. It is a very popular spot, there must be someone up there who can fill in the blanks for you. I hope you find it because it is such a beautiful place I am truly jealous.
