Tells us we are doing everything right and soon enough the goals will come and Kipper will hit his stride. Then what? Kipper plays Kiprusoff hockey and we still get 35+ shots a game, Bet your arse we are going to the Playoffs in stride.

Last night showed why the Flames are not ready for primetime. Outshot the Hawks bigtime but when it came to crunch time, they folded. Should rename the Flames the Tarps, cause they sure fold nice!

Looks like we start out on a cold streak this year. I'm going to trust that those pucks will soon find their way into the net. It needs to happen soon though. come on Kipper, get your .... in order!

Nearly every Flame on the ice made a mistake leading to the goal with 2 sec left.
Kipper should have been upright, not flopp'n, good shot upper net, but anyways.
Flames D man with back to the play, (unsue who it was) took Teows off to the side of the net and even behind the net. You don't do that with 5 sec left. Face the danger. Smart of Teows to draw the D man away.
Anyways, they will move forward.

Two teams going in totally different direction. Calgary has a aging core that were good and still are but not nearly enough to carry the load, not much of a prospect pool.

Nothing wrong with cheering for them guys, just try to be realistic. Even if they make the playoffs, which is quite doubtful they will still need to make major personnel and organizational changes to be a competitive team.

As strange as it sounds, celebrating a Canucks win almost seems unpatriotic to me. Stupid wundertwins.

Is it just me or is Louie Debrusk looking more and more like Kelly Hrudy?

I thought it was Kelly until I saw the name under the picture.

Shut it bb.
Dubnyk played well. I like what I'm seeing from him. So far.
Canucks got a lucky 2nd goal on him.

He made some outstanding saves but what's with the two goals that went in during regulation time? Gad, they were bad!

47 shot and one will usually go through. Hopefully the rest of the team can elevate their game and give Duby some defense and better goal support.

Loser points.
Is that like being the last one asked to dance? By the home-ec teacher?
I'm just asking, cause I don't know.

Luongo is playing pretty darn good for a back up goalie.

This shortened season is what the Oil need for a chance at being in the playoffs. They don't have the stamina or endurance for an 80 game grind. Sure they are fast and exciting to watch but they are like watching a European team and this roster is young, frail and weak when it comes to an 80 game schedule against teams that are bigger and have more depth in the physicality department.
