Default Noalox with Al compatible marette to pigtail CU to?

Hey Electrician types.

I'm replacing a switch and can't find an AL compatible switch in the type of switch i'm looking for, just a CU one.

I bought some copper wire to pigtail the aluminum to and some CU/AL compatible marettes.

Is it good practice to put some noalox in the marette too?

friggin AL!!!

Thanks!

Yes, it a good idea to do that. The Cu and Al don't contract and expand the same. Al will also oxidize at a quicker rate, which is why the Noalux or something similar should be used.
