Yeah Fall can be great fishing. Consistent cooling trends are good for the bite. Often are fall weather flips around a lot which can slow things down. You'll still get them to bite good by slowing it right down with a jig and minnow or worm. Try downsizing the jig and holding it very still if nothing is happening. Fish often spread out all over the lake once turn over occurs. If nothing you can sometimes find fish drift fishing on the blustery days with a bottom bouncer and night crawler, minnow or leach. Buck has tons of fish though, should be consistent.
