east pit lake

i just wanted to know how the fishing was at east pit i was there just after melt and didnt get anything anyone been out there lately ?

Been there yesterday and the day before shore fishing. Could not keep them away from my hooks (flies). Yesterday I easily landed 30 fish in about two hours that I was there. If you bait fish it might be on the slow side.

Fish are typically 5 to 8 inches in size (this year stock). Got one fatty 16" that I would say is about 2#s.
