Rivers/Streams Edmonton Area

Anybody know of any fishing Rivers/Streams other then the NSR in the Edmontno area? Also, does anyone here catch fish at Muir lake without fly fishing?

You can toss small spinners and spoons in Muir and it works well when the fish are active.Early A.M or late P.M seem to be the times...
