Default SSask jet boat trip

Went on a jet boat trip this past Saturday for some fishing on the SSask River, I thought the fishing maybe slow as a cold front had just rolled through, it was busy enough to keep us interested. Plus the scenery and the jet boat experience itself is enough to make me want to do it again. Here's some pics of the sturgeon we managed to land:

We also caught walleye, carp and goldeye. It was a good day and if you've never caught a sturgeon before you owe it to yourself to try and catch one there's no fish that fights like they do (IMO).
Our day was cut a little short as the storm clouds started to roll in. You could actually "hear" the static in the air and if you touched the graphite parts of the rods you got a shock similar to that of an electric fence We pulled up our gear and got outta there!

Nice fish, any weights? Definately looking forward to my first sturgeon. Was that a guided trip?

Great post! I echo as well that it is nice to see some quality sturgeon here in Alberta. S. Sask looks like a great place to explore.

P.S. Good call on getting out of there with the electicity in the air. That has the potential to put a bad spin on a good day.
