Default NSR last night

Went out for a couple hours last night. The fishing was quite slow until sundown, then it picked up like crazy. Lots of small walleye and this one hawg my buddy caught... it was 29" long and had a 14" girth.

Wow good catch thats a true hog, just look at the size of the tail. I also tried a spot at the river last night but obviously I gave up to early as the fishing was very slow were I was. Didnt stay till night fall.

The fish I posted a picture of was caught a few km's downstream of Fort Sask. We saw a fair number of good Walleye in this section earlier in the year when I was doing a fisheries study for a new intake. This one was caught on a rod & reel though, not with the electofisher.

How deep was the water? The river is very shallow around there. I want to go out tomorrow night. Thanks SWR

The walleye at the beginnning of this thread was caught in about 3 feet of water, just on the east side of the city.
