Default Sept Fishing

Looking for a lake to take my aging father to for a fall fishing trip, he likes whitefish but species does not matter, are calling or baptise good lakes in the fall, looking to go third week in Sept

Both are great lakes for walleye and pike. If you really want to take him on the trip of a lifetime....book a day with Ray at Reel Angling Adventures on the Athabasca River. www.reelangling.com

I'd rate it as Alberta's best fall fishery but it's jet boat only country.

Thumbs up

Both Calling and Baptiste still have quite a bit of algae in them. It affects the taste of the fish quite a bit. I'd recommend Slave Lake.
