Default Underwater action, pike and walleye with rapala RAPV

https://youtu.be/8KNhV1taFb0

Great little lure. Good quality but I don’t understand why the front hooks are facing backwards

Thanks for posting. That front hook might be like that to allow for the lure action they were trying to achieve. That is the only thing I can think of. I'd be curious to see if the action changes if you put a treble on the front.

Default Rapala RAPV

I think that was the model that Rapala manufactured on April 1st.

Clip the hook, put on a split ring & attach a hook facing backwards. Guaranteed you'll be pulling in fish as opposed to losing them.

Great video! Awesome to see someone doing cool stuff in and around my area. Look forward to more! I am going to grab one of those and turn the hook the other way. I will let you know how it goes.

Thumbs up

Just wondering if you threw on a minnow on a jig head what would happen to the bite?

They looked interested but not so much.....neat looking lure though and always good to have a variety in hand to entice the bite.

Thanks everyone! I definitely will swap the hook so it faces forward. This lure they were sometimes interested and sometimes not. This is one of those cases where a minnow and a jig head may have worked better with the added bait scent.

It sure is fun teasing the fish underwater though
