just like a dirrty woman...
Or just another muskie. But golden pike did just replace the word "cougar" for me when I now refer to a mature female boy hunter.

Just a quick warning. When I clicked on the Golden Pike Society hyperlink, after googleing golden pike, my CPU found a trojan virus on that page so i was unable to view it. Or something along those lines. I'm no CPU wiz but just wanted to warn anyone that does the search.

Ours did that too , huh wonder if its a cross bread between a pike and walleye , that would make for a beautifully mean and great fight of a fish .

u got to find that picture!I caught it at an indisclosed lake in Alberta. Talking to fish cop he told me it want that uncommon to be caught there. He said it is a pike without its spots and without the spots there isn't much green. What's left is a golden pike!it was pretty cool to see . Especially when a guy is ice fishing and gets a flash of gold by the hole.

My cousin told me that near where he lives (Thorsby AB) theres a resivor or something where they feed the pike shrimp, and the Pike are Pink! He said their pink inside and out like a salmon. I'll have to ask him about it next time I talk to him, I know theres a power plant near by his place, but I'm not sure if thats where he was talking about.

Buck Krazy, I believe that fish is a Chain Pickerel. It's related to the pike, but is actually a different species.

golden pike
At the time I thought my eyes were playing tricks but I caught one in Chin exactly the same as Buckcrazys. I am sure its a pike but just a different coloration. I have never heard of chain pickeral west of Ontario.
