Fish Lake - Near Nordegg

I am wondering what kind of fishing one can expect out at fish lake ( Shundra). I have some time and with the weather warming up , the RV and Inflatable boat are calling. I would expect small pan size trout as I believe it is a stocked lake.
I have not been out there for years , so any advice would be appreciated.

Havnt fished fish lake this year, I would imagine it has been stocked with the usual stockers and some broods. Have caught 6lb brood in there before. Awful windy lake though. Goldeye should be starting to fish good now and its just down the road.

iv caught lots of 6lb broods there with 5 o diamonds right of shore. cast into the wnd it helps

not information I want to release on the internet but........... there are some near or over record sized trout in that lake.....just need to know where to find them. and that is not easy.. or information to find them readily available from a guy who tells almost all on this forum.

as a general fishing expectancy without knowing the lake. smaller stocked trout nothing to sneeze at but none the less small pan fry's.

but as a hint...south end of the lake by the resort, that is all I will reveal online.
