Long lake north of edmonton

Any tips for long lake? Don't care what i catch just want to catch something

gonna be out that way in may here, and have never seen, nevermind fished this lake in my life. ANY advice is appreciated

There are still two 'Long Lakes' north of Edmonton, where are you going? By Boyle or by Athabasca?

Go straight across the lake from the boat launch.

I fished that lake a couple years ago and I found that trolling and using a bright colour jig worked great caught walleye and jack fish good luck

Was there summer of '07. Good fishing was on the south tip of the lake, plenty of little pike and walleye. No pike large enough to keep but fun fishing.
My son caught his first fish, first pike, and first walleye there.
