Most guys on the forum seem to be full of info if they have any. I for one havn't heard of the lake but that doesn't mean anything, I'm sure someone has to of heard/fished it b4 if it is worth fishing. Good luck.

thanx for the info on Sturgeon bud.
I've never fished Kakut myself, but Alberta Fishing Guide says there are Pike in the main lake and Trout in the pond. There is a fishing tourney there yearly.
Another one I hope to try this winter.
Call The Tackle Shack in Grande Prairie 1-780-539-6354. They always seen to have good info on local lakes.
Hope this helps and good luck
Ken
