saw a few whites in the morning but no takers. From 10 am to 1 pm not a fish to be seen. Caught my first white at 2 pm, got 5 in total. The other guys out there did pretty much the same as me. It's like all the whites took a siesta for a few hours. A little cool out there today but still better than working !

Exact same story as last weekend!
I guess I won't be sleeping in on Saturday AM.

West of ma-me-o near the island. There was only 5 trucks out there, you will see two permanent shacks.

No I don't have a shack, a green eskimo 2 man and a silver F-150 with writing in the back window. Won't be out this weekend as I have to work to support my fishing and hunting

Headed out on Saturday, spotted several whites,a burbot,a walleye and a tiny perch. The whites were finnicky on wire worms.Switched to the trusty old yellow and red five o diamonds and had immediate interest and a taker that I lost at the hole. Was using maggots. The small yellow and red seemed to be the favorite but only had 30 minutes of light left...

Not a great day but ok...
