I wonder what gets them the boot, does another event require that hall plus the adjoining one? It would have to be something more lucrative for the Stampede to do that to a long time client, it can’t be a same for same or the other event could use the other space.

If the other event draws lots of people in cars the parking lot will be a zoo with attendees from two events both vying for spots.

The change of venues to the Calgary gun show could be a major change for the event.

I think as shows and venues get squeezed for space and competition, being more competitive and larger more comprehensive shows could be a winning combination.

I think how Huntfest in Edmonton was an awesome show. It had a bit of everything. Had all the top venders along with local vendors.

With Red Deer between the two largest centers I think they could start something up like Huntfest but make it better and bigger.
