Default Where To Go?

My Cousin is coming to Calgary on Wednesday and wants to go fishing with me. I have about 1000 times more experience then him even though he is 21. I know of a ton of great places to fish, but they are all too far to go for the day. Where would you suggest I go within 45 min of Calgary. I would really like him to catch a fish! Thanks

Widely known, head down to the sheep or highwood rivers in okotoks/high river areas. Great fishing in both rivers, might even land a lunker bull good luck

For a guarantee, Pine Coulee Resevoir is about 1.5 hr max from the city, you can pull walleye out from shore all day there, just buy some smelt from extra foods in high river, and enjoy the day. The lake is catch and release only on walleye
