Default Truck Window Rod Holder Ideas

I'm looking for something to mount on the rear window of an 07 Tacoma that will hold up to 4 rods...has anyone rigged up something that works decent or tried out this:

http://www.innoracks.com/details/zr223/

Looks ok, but it only holds 2 rods per rack...thinking of getting 2 and stacking em. They run about $30 per so i'd like to get others' ideas before going for this one.

Thx,
HH

I'm no expert, but how big do gun racks get? Couldn't you modify one of them with an easy clip or fold over type bracket?

Baking your rods and reels in the window isnt the best idea imo

I picked up a single rifle hardcase at C tire for 20 bucks, if you take your reels off, it should hold about 5 or 6 rods easy and fits behind the truckseat quite nicely

I use a cheap version of this:

It protects the rods & reels, and keeps them out of direct sunlight, as well as somewhat out of sight of thieves.

yeah, I was thinking the downriggers were gonna scratch the crap out of the side of the box!! You can buy an expandable hard tube at fishin hole. I've got one under the back seat of my 3/4 ton chev. fits great, glued velco on one side to keep it from sliding.
