Default Pembina/Wabuman Report.

Fished both pembina and wab this morning did well at both.

Caught 12 walleye between me and a friend none were big enough to keep for shore lunch, around 16-17inches average fish.

Then decided to head to wabamun and slayed pike just by the ironhead golf course, couldn't keep them off. Biggest was 4lbs maybe.

All and all great day to finally be out

SteveY

Were you fishing the pembina at the provincial park? I was wondering at what point the grayling become fishable? Drayton Valley?

guess it didnt help a tornado touched down 20 KMs south of mayerthorpe and continued east today

NDN,

No unfortunately i dont have any pics to share.

They werent worth taking. I cant believe how small the walleye we were pulling out of that river.

The limit is 3 over 50cm and we didnt catch anything bigger than 17inches.

Last year was the same thing, i talked to a CO there today and he said he hasnt seen anyone keep any nice sized walleye this year

How are you doing on the NSR?

Its insanely high right now and my spots i usually fish have not produced.

Too bad calling lake wasnt 10mins out of edmonton

You fish the fort sask area eh?

I've been intrested on calling that guide that does nsr fishing.

NSR is very underestimated big fish in those waters.

Call Keith at Get Hooked, he's a good guy and has a terrific web site. I have'nt fished with him but we were chums growing up.
