that second link is crazy. i used to spearfish, but i couldnt imagine. Not for something thats longer than I am tall. LOL

did you used to use one of those guns with reels or did you go hand powered or what??
sounds like a blast!!!

Tunas are bad for turning around and charging you I would hate to have that happen with loaded spear gun let alone an emtpy one.

I used to use a double band, single band, and a co2 charged speargun here in our alberta waters. but they were waaaaaaayyyyyyyy smaller than those big spearguns in the video. Also had my fair share of use of a Hawiian SLing, these are the most efficient for game such as perch, due to reload time cut down more than half, and the fact that when you swim with the fishes, they let you get close.

never used the big reel guns or those super long triple band guns. .

One day if Pike are put back on the list of game we can spearfish and bowfish, i can see myself dusting off the gear. Hubbles Lake used to be a favorite of mine

that's really cool man!!
a few months ago we were watching guy do that in portugal. they were coming up with octpusses (octopi???) cuddlefish, crabs, eels, etc.
really wild!!!
