i,ve driven by there a hundred times but have yet to see a boat on the lake . Anyone hade any luck fishing there ? if so what species are in the lake and or the river feeding into it ?
ya I saw the signs saying boat at own risk due to high winds . I have a jet boat and could easlily run the river feeding it ( at least up to the park boundary ) maybe i,ll have to toss a few lines in and report back
the best fishing is actually at the mouth of any creek or river that enters. some good locations are where the Cline enters, also can't remember the name of creek but it starts with a T is also a good spot.
those spots usually have the best luck at getting into fish.
There are lake trout up to 20lbs in there had some luck last winter landing a 21lbs laker. Lots of bulls, rockies and the odd rainbow and cuttthroat is what I have landed
never been on... stayed in the campground there once. I walked to where the cline enters the lake and saw some folks pulling fish... sorry didnt ask what it was... very windy when i was there. Fishing looked promising donwstream of the dam though...
