All I ever had were certificates, when was the pin discontinued?

Would have been in the 70's sometime. Dad had his first class A in 1980 and it was a sew on patch then.

I do have a certificate that says I'm a Class A guide. They still issue those ?

My Dad was an Alberta Class A guide back in the 60's. I have one of his Elk racks with the metal tags which i miss. The paper sticky tags have to be handled with care after their attached and installing them.
