Default Looking for a taxidermist

Does anyone have the number for a good taxidermist that will do a couple mallard ducks for me ? So far I've only found a couple and they jack up the prices because they don't like doing them.
Thanks

waterfowl take a lot of extra work compared to other birds due to the amount of subcutaneous fat (under skin) that physically has to be removed and then the skin degreased to make a proper mount. The taxidermists who will give you a special deal price will probably not bother with removing all the fat and connecting tissue so in a few months you will have grease stains tainting the feathers as well as many of the feather tracts twisting out of position.
Taxidermy is one thing that you get exactly what you pay for in lasting quality.
IMO if it is worth doing at all it is worth doing right.

Ben from Art of Taxidermist is the number one guy for birds in the province. Yes it will be expensive.

+1 on art of taxidermy. Ben is excellent to deal with and does beautiful work. Won't be cheap but it's never worth skimping on a mount.

Check the Sponsor Form, some great taxidermists on there that support AO.

Bruin taxidermy in Calgary would be my recommendation. The work he does is top notch without a doubt. I haven't personally had a bird done by him but know people who have and 20 years later it still looks as good as new!

Well, if you know your birds then when you see his Gallery, you should know. yes he won't be cheap, but he loves Birds and loves doing them.
Last time I talked to him he had a large Bird order from Europe.
here , see it for yourself:
