Default Ice fishing Lower or Upper Kananaskis?

Hi everyone,
My first post but I have been reading your threads for a while now, very helpful and knowledgeable members.
I have fished both upper and lower K during open water seasons (on the fly) and have had pretty good luck in both. I'm pretty green to ice fishing and need some advice. I'v heard upper is a lot tougher to find action in the winter. Is this true? Is it better to stick to Lower?
Thanks!

Lower K it is.
I know of a few places to get down from the Springbank side. Usually involves a bit of a traverse down, with gear it might be a pain. I'll see what I can do, I know people who live all along it. Thanks for the reply.

they both contain lots of fish. both can produce well in the winter and both can kick your butt on occasion as well. don't limit yourself to the lower bowl alone as there is some pretty sweet cutts swimming in the upper lake right now. the scenery at both locations is bar none. go enjoy, fish or no fish. olive bugs up top and white hair down below.
