i'm staying here this weekend because its cheap and next to the water. Also offers free breakfast!

Its old and raunchy but honestly i'm not gonna complain. Cheaper just means more money to spend towards other fishing funds haha

Stay atwestern budget. 79.00 for a 2 bed room, and stay 2 nights the third is free. Me and buddy did last winter and the whole 3 day fishing trim costs us each 79.00 for accommodations and 50 bucks for fuel. Can’t beat it.

Dockside inn. Park right in front of your room so you can unload anything easily.

I would play it safe and reserve a room. Dockside inn takes reservations with no credit card or deposit required.

Cold lake hotels are fairly dead with decreased oil and gas activity but better safe than sorry.

Avoid the Western Budget Motel like the plague. Worst motel I have ever been in.The owner was rude when we arrived. The refrigerator and television did not work. The room smelled of rotting food. The hot water was barely warm. Even if everything as had worked properly I found the price to be very high for what we received. I will never return.

Another vote for the Dockside Inn. When you reserve specify ground floor or you may have to haul your stuff upstairs.

We stay at the B and B across from the marina. Drive your rig right from the lot onto the ice. Bfast or lunch provided. More $$$ than Dockside but way nicer.

Only negative about being down by the water barely any stores but good eats at the marina restaurant.
