Looking for another stock preferably wood .... it's for a savage 17 wsm .... any ideas where I should be looking for one

Easiest is Boyd's Gun Stocks. They have a large selection of shapes and styles for that gun.

P and D will bring them in for you but it is just as cheap and easy to order them direct. Most of the stocks drop right in, a few have required some very minor fitting and shaving. I glass bed all my stocks so that ensures a perfect fit anyhow.
