Dickson Trout Pond June 11
Out At the pond today to test the boat for leaks and the new trolling motor.Every thing was good. Got to the pond about 25 minutes after the hail storm and launched the boat. I was only going to test the rig so i just put on a yellow and red 5 of diamonds. I caught 47 trout and landed 25 of those. All but 1 were 6-8 inches long.The biggest was 13 inches. I did 1 lap around the pond and had the most action on the east side from the boat launch to the old road in about 12 feet of water. There was about 30 minutes of no wind and i seen 4 fish boils of about 20 fish feeding on top of the water. My guess is that they just planted this fish this week so there will be no big ones caught for a while. Off to Pine lake or phyllis tommorow if the weather is good.
