Default Edith Lake by Swan Hills

Has anyone been out to Edith Lake in last week or two. Wondering about access how close you can drive to shore and how fishing is

Good luck fishing there. Have not fished it for 20 years. Had a lot of fun there. Used egg shells down the hole too see the trout go by.

Was out last Sunday.
Roads were okay going in, it doesn't seem they plow all of them so good tires and/or 4wd are recommended.

You can drive right down to the shore in a couple areas and on the lake once it freezes up.

Was 7-11" of ice.
Fishing was good, a couple real nice Brookies this last time out.
Bait of choice was half minnows

Water clarity isn't great. And were lots of tiny perch around.
