another 100 or so for the two of us yesterday before the rain hit . Watched a weasel hunting as well . Babies were out 11895+100=11995 plus a bonus Magpie that couldn't wait to chow down

Buddy and myself 400+ in 5 hrs today. He was laughing because he had never seen so many in one spot. May as well been at an arcade. Beauty day.

Went out with my bow for the first time this year. I got 16 confirmed, my buddy forgot his release and took a shot with my bow and nabbed one. My son was also with us. He got another 4, bringing us up to 21 for the day.

Gotta love the little ones when they roll around, fighting with each other and then pause for a second. Whammo, two gophers with one shot. Even managed to get 3 gophers with one shot.

Out for first time this year, 112 gophers, including 3 doubles. Bonus round was one magpie and one crow. Only got in about an hour and a half before it clouded up and got cold. Gophers weren't cooperating after that.
Count 13,923+112=14,035
I sure miss living in Calgary. There are gophers around Edmonton but the patches are usually quite small and quite a few miles between them. Not any where near the concentration or prevalence there was around Calgary. Used to shoot over 10,000 a year myself living down there. Maybe have to try further east.

I don't have an exact count. The very conservative estimate I will add is 175. Quite windy and the gophers weren't too keen on "playing". Managed a triple with the 222. Also managed to blood the .204. It cartwheeled a gopher a solid 15' stage right! 14072 + 175= 14247.
