Default Lake Newell

anyone been out lately? thinking about bringing the motorhome and boat there this weekend to go after some big pike...

I was there with SouthAltaHunter last tuesday.. Absolutely awsome day on the water. Sunny, Calm almost no wind for mos of the day. Only one other boat out that we saw.

Managed 5 pike, 5 Walleye and 1 large Clam... no super hogs, but decent fish. Other boat only caught a few small pike. We switched it up all day, Trolled bouncers, rapalas, Casted in the shallows.. Trolling bouncers worked the best for us. maybe 15-20 FOW.

Filled 2 Walleye tags with a couple 5 lbers.

Anyone been out to Newell lately? Heading there this weekend to do a little camping and wondering how the fishing is.
