Is the dock in at Clear Lake?

Thread title says it all.

I want to take my grandson out this weekend for his first ever trip and would like to fish off the dock if it is in place.

What clear lake? Probaly the one down south, but the one near Wainwright has the boatdock in

I've never seen a dock at Clear Lake south. Where does it go in?

at the south end by the campground.

Wow. Took a chance and went out this am and lo and behold NO dock. The water is super high and the concrete permanent section of the dock base is submerged by about a foot of water.

Lots of skeeters. And Rain.lol

how was the fishing? we got skunked there a few weeks ago.

We got skunked as well. We were invited to join a small derby that was going on , but we passed on it as without the dock, it was hard to keep my small grandson out of the wet grass and mosquitos so we fished for a couple hours and then left around noon when the rains started.

No idea how the derby went-they were all in boats and on the water still when we left.
