Default boats on trout ponds 2

after reading the other thread about outboards on lakes where only electric moters are allowed i called srd. to get a definitive answer. (good luck with that). they directed me to transport canada, as they weren't sure. still waiting for tans. cnd. to get back to me about the VORR (vessell operation restriction requirement).
finnally talked to a conservation officer who said that if the gas motor prop is tilted out of the water and you are using your electric troller you are legal. he likened it to having a barbed hook in your tackle box which is legal untill you start using it for fishing.
personaly i don't know of any trout ponds that are electric only that you could acctually launch a larger outboard equipped boat. love to see that at east pit lol.

Bullshead is electric only and has a nice boat launch. You could launch some pretty big walleye boats into there if you wanted.

Kind of makes me want to drag my big boat out there and just use the bow mount all day.

The main reason for electric motors on these lakes are: gas motors attract everyone ( pleasure opperators includes) enviromental inpact from gas spilage and turbidity ( mixing of particulates in the water column causeing cloudiness.
Some cases its a sight of a fragile eco system...

There are alot of fair sized trout ponds. If you have a small electric boat you can reach areas the shore fishermen cannot. Unless of course.... you can cast across it with your salmon rod

Thanks for making the effort to contact the bureaucrats to get this cleared up waterninja. The other thread is just beating a dead horse right now.
