Default Aluminum Boat Repair

Accidentally punched a 2" hole through the transom of my 16 1/2' Sylvan aluminum boat this weekend. The puncture is a couple of inches to the side of the drain hole. Does anybody have any recommendations for a shop in Edmonton or area that would do a quality aluminum hull repair? I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

You could try to straighten it out and have line x or some like that spray it for you. It will be totally water proof and tougher then original.

Thanks for the responses. I'll talk to Totem and look into the line x solution.

If you need, I have some pcs of 14 ga aluminum. Would be good for fixing small holes like you got. Some are about 2ft X 1 ft. Some bigger and some smaller. Just rivet a pc on with some sealant around it. Or weld it in place.

If anyone needs some for a patch on a tinner, I have. Some pcs may even be good for that little bracket that you may need to make or fix. Some Nickel plated piano hinges as well that you could make some storage compartments and stuff.
