fishing tips for whitefish in sylvan

i was wondering what set up to use for white fish
when to fish and all that could any of you give me tips

I've had luck with small chronamids,nymphs under an indicator.

do whitefish go for tackle or only flies?

I have had good luck sight fishing for them on the north shore just out from the cabins/homes. Polarized glasses on a calm day and you can watch them follow and strike. If you dont have a fly rod just tie some flies on your spinning rod under a clear bobber(for weight to cast) and drift it by them.
