Default Red deer area

I'm new to the red deer area and would like to get out early tomorrow to catch some fish. Species isn't important, I really have no idea where to go. I saw a couple recent threads that speak of Phyllis. Thanks for your help

Myself and at least one other member are heading to buffalo lake by Stettler (the bay in Rochon Sands) if you want to meet up. I'll be there by 10:30-11:00 am (blue Ford Explorer and a Frabill Recon DLX hut).

Pike and Burbot are on the menu, smelts on a jig and med spoons are the weapons of choice.

Cheers.

Thanks for the invite guys. I would jump at the opportunity if I wasn't working nights. What about the trout ponds in red deer? Or maybe pine coulée?

You'll find two trout ponds just west of Sylvan, Hansons (south maybe 1 km on HWY 766) and Neimala (west of Benalto on the north side of HWY 11) good luck.
