Uh oh Davey...
Your screwed.
https://globalnews.ca/news/3936357/s...-january-2018/
And I just thought a wolf moon was one whereby we all would have this irresistible craving to howl, attributed solely due to the lunar phase???
Now go put your super moon theories to rest when you check your snares. Super moon fears? Super moon phobia??? Super moon voodoo????

What a character.
No one knows voodoo like you do.
I planned ahead and put up so many snares that they will blot out the moon and I'll be snaring in the shade.

Dave,
what you said is part of the answer to full moon snaring.
If we're taking about something different let me know Marty.

The effects of a full moon on snaring is a big controversy.

Cold weather, hungry coyotes, and they could care less if you're busy howling Dave, they're coming and nothing stopping them, no matter how horrible you sound.

I have a new bait site with some tracks that I’ll hang snares on tomorrow afternoon. I figure that I might catch a couple during the Eclipse.
I’m predicting that you’ll have a new record catch.

Well, tomorrow is bait day and go see the "miracle healer" for some body care, so it'll have to be today or Thursday. Just don't have the weather to make such a catch at this point in the season, could be done tho regardless of the rubbish we read on the internet these days!

This not a time to panic--pull over slowly, put the sun shade down,it also works for bright moonshine, rummage around the car most likely come up with sunglasses, put then on then proceed at reduced speed until the moon sets----Your welcome,i have several boy scout badges, and one girl scout badge.

So now what did you do Davey, the moons all red
Can you please turn it back white and brite? I can’t see very much right now. I would appreciate it very much. If that’s not too much to ask??? I am a long ways from home and have one more spot to check. It would be nice.
BTW... 19 on the truck with all this supermoon hysteria happening, 1/2 day late start with yesterdays skinning episode.
Anyways, please turn back on the moon lights. This sucks

Nice haul, Marty, but isn’t 19 coyotes 60% lower than your usual 50 coyote check?

Marty, you’re loosing it Dude, go to bed. Now you’re saying that you need a super moon to catch coyotes?
Anyway, I hope that you were hauling a trailer for all those coyotes. Those darned frozen, contorted coyotes don’t stack very well......especially when you have bait in the back of the truck to put out. Maybe strap some into the seats and they’ll be thawed to skin by the time that you get home.

No trailer, just 31 coyotes and two fox. No kiyutes in the cab. Did 72 or something once on a 1.5 day trip. Never had any in the cab yet.

I bet that you would have caught more if there wasn't a super moon.
