Bernard Callibaut Tax!!!
Guys,
Remember, tomorrow is Bernard Callibaut Tax Day!!!!
Was there yesterday, in the late afternoon, and there were 4 other guys in there near Southgate Mall.
I said to them in the line up, so you'r paying your Bernard Callibaut Tax too!
They laughed.
I asked them if they thought the place is as busy on FATHER'S DAY, and the Clerks laughed and said the place always is empty.
Can't draw any conclusions from that. At least none that I am willing to say on a public forum.

WCTHEMI,
If you have a significant other, and you "forget" tomorrow, you will be paying Bernard Callibaut tax for a very long time.
Just a heads up.

My wife and I haven't done the Feb 14th thing in ages... and even if we did, she doesn't like chocolates.
I haven't gone to a Bernard Callibaut since he went bankrupt...

I quit that too. Did buy her a Purdy's gift certificate a few years back, she still has it. Bought her a non-expiry spa deal a while back too. The business will probably reject it because the ink is likely fading and it will be a blank piece of paper.

Valentine's day (VD) isn't for couples, it's for singles who want to add a bit of mystery. Hallmark screwed that up to make a buck. So did elementary schools where everybody gets a card. Wife and me have anniversaries.

My wife gets mad at me if I get her something for V-Day. Rants about inflated costs and such. It took me a couple years but I eventually learned!

Same with IncrediGirl!
I just made her a homemade card last night. Done!
(Well, I did order flowers sent to her office too... But that's just because....)

Much like mine. She would be happier if I vacuumed the floor but because I believe in equality I get the vacuum out of the closet for her and plug it in. Put it away after she's done. Because Valentine's is special I'll put my own plate in the dishwasher as well. Nothing like earning a few extra points for fall time. Lol
