Found out that map depot in Edmonton is now closed. Have bought a lot of my old hunting maps from them.
We are scouting and hunting a relatively new area this summer and fall. Need to try and get some County Land Ownership maps and also some of the maps that SRD put out that are basically a forestry access map(roads, cutlines, pipelines, well sites, rivers, lakes, etc)
Does anyone know of a store in the Edmonton area that sells what Map Depot used to??
Go to http://www.maptown.com/ Pick the map you need, pay, they ship it to your door step the next day. Quick, awesome service. A lot less hassle then going to the edmonton map town location and try to find a parking spot. I was very surprised how quick they are getting a map to their customers.
Save your money. You don't necessarily need a map to scout or shoot your animal.
You can get county landowner maps at most county offices and some are online too.
