Default North Sask. River Edmonton Area

July 1/08 7:00 am

Headed down to the river this morning with a few worms .River was much lower and started to clear up.
Had no hits on pike or Goldeye. ...Nothing jumping yet !
Caught one small walleye and 6 suckers !

Wow,

That is one FUGLY fish. I suppose they have their place in the ECO system though...... Without them, the rivers would likely be much worse off.

From my office window, overlooking the North Sask just west of the High Level Bridge, the river looks as though it's dropped at least a metre since the middle of last week, and it's beginning to look clearer to me as well. Bring on lower water!
